Big Sean exits Kanye West’s G.O.O.D. Music, launches his own record imprint
Charlamagne Tha God claimed that West actually owed Big Sean $3 million, while adding that Big Sean’s GOOD contract was far from good. and opined, “the terms of said contract were “very terrible”. So with that maybe we all can read a little more into the acrimonious atmosphere between the two, and into Sean’s departure from ‘Ye’s GOOD Music.
Big Sean signed to Kanye West’s G.O.O.D. Music label 14 years ago, back in 2007 and released his debut studio album Finally Famous four years later. Followup recordings, Hall of Fame, Dark Sky Paradise, I Decided and Detroit 2 were also released via the record label, as well as his mixtapes, TWENTY88 with Jhené Aiko and Double or Nothing with Metro Boomin.
