While the label acquisition perse is secure, it&#8217;s catalog is still in contention.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Death Row recordings are owned by MNRK Music and its parent company Blackstone, which acquired the eOne Music label for $385 million in April 2021.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dr. Dre&#8217;s <em>The Chronic\u00a0<\/em>is reportedly set to return to Death Row likely in 2023. Snoop\u2019s\u00a0 output, Doggystyle, Doggfather, and his latest,\u00a0<em>BODR\u00a0<\/em>(Back On Death Row), are all under the label making him the current top-selling artist. Other titles in  the Death Row catalog includes soundtracks to\u00a0<em>Above The Rim<\/em>\u00a0and\u00a0<em>Gridlock\u2019d<\/em>, compilation albums and includes\u00a0<em>Christmas on Death Row,<\/em>\u00a0and albums from Lady of Rage, Daz Dillinger, and Kurupt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Billboard<\/em> estimates\u00a0that Death Row garnered $15 million in revenue in 2021 including the Tupac and Dr. Dre albums.
