The genesis and magnitude of their greatness is one of the most extraordinary stories of the 20<sup>th<\/sup>&nbsp;and 21<sup>st<\/sup>&nbsp;Centuries.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Billboard&nbsp;<\/em>magazine ranked The Temptations #1 in their most recent list of the Greatest R&amp;B\/Hip-Hop Artists of All Time, and in November of 2019 named them one of The 125 Greatest of All Time Artists.<em>&nbsp;<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"844\" height=\"478\" src=\"https:\/\/rhythmnation.online\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/02\/RN-Temptations-1-1.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-3450\" srcset=\"https:\/\/rhythmnation.online\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/02\/RN-Temptations-1-1.png 844w, https:\/\/rhythmnation.online\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/02\/RN-Temptations-1-1-300x170.png 300w, https:\/\/rhythmnation.online\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/02\/RN-Temptations-1-1-768x435.png 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 844px) 100vw, 844px\" \/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Rolling Stone&nbsp;<\/em>magazine named them among the 100 Greatest Artists of All Time, and in September of 2020, the editors of&nbsp;<em>Rolling Stone&nbsp;<\/em>commented that The Temptations are \u201cIndisputably the greatest black vocal group of the Modern Era\u2026,\u201d and listed the group\u2019s&nbsp;<em>Anthology<\/em>&nbsp;album among the \u201c500 Greatest Albums of All Time.\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Temptations\u2019&nbsp;<em>Anthology<\/em>&nbsp;album has appeared in all three of&nbsp;<em>Rolling Stone\u2019s<\/em>&nbsp;500 Greatest Albums\u2019 lists.
