It was announced recently that David<\/strong> Grutman<\/strong> of Groot<\/strong> Hospitality<\/strong> and musician Pharrell<\/strong> Williams<\/strong> will collaborate with Atlantis Paradise Island <\/strong>to open a new resort called “Somewhere Else”. The duo, Grutman and Williams has already garnered a large manner of success as partners in two other ventures, Swan<\/strong>, the Miami<\/strong>-based restaurant, and The Goodtime Hotel<\/strong>, a Miami Beach<\/strong>-based boutique type concept. The property, which is adjacent to Atlantis, will take over the current site of The Beach. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n ‘Somewhere Else<\/em>‘ will house over 400 guestrooms and suites alongside a range of dining venues, a beach, multiple pools and recreation areas, besides luxury amenities and live entertainment. An atmosphere of “tropical modernism” will be seen and felt throughout the resort. Together with Grutman and Williams, architecture and design firm Rockwell Group<\/strong> is creating an resort-within-a-resort in the vicinity of Atlantis Paradise Island\u2019s myriad dining and entertainment options.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cSomewhere Else” is going to be a one-of-a-kind resort,\u201d Grutman said in a press release. \u201cNot only will it offer a major extension of the unforgettable and high energy experiences we deliver with Groot Hospitality, but also, a clear focus on nature and restorative elements. We\u2019ll have something for everyone, yet Pharrell and I are making sure Somewhere Else is unlike anywhere else.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n Atlantis Paradise Island is home to five properties, including the iconic towers of The Royal<\/strong>, the family-friendly accommodations at The Coral<\/strong>, residential-style studios and suites at The Reef<\/strong>, opulent suites at The Cove<\/strong>, and water-side villas at Harborside Resort<\/strong>.
